Accountant – Fixed‑Term Project (Centurion, SA)

About the role

This fixed‑term accountant position is based in Centurion, South Africa, supporting a reputable organisation on a short‑term project. The role offers immediate impact within a dynamic finance team, especially valuable for candidates with property‑industry exposure.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts.
• Perform tax calculations, submissions and ensure compliance.
• Reconcile the general ledger and produce financial reports.
• Conduct financial analysis, variance reporting and support budgeting/forecasting.
• Maintain adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Undertake ad‑hoc finance‑related duties as required.

Required profile

• SAIPA registration or completion of SAIPA articles.
• Minimum 1 year post‑articles experience (preferred).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Essential tax experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
