Accountant – Financial Reporting & Month-End

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process monthly journals, accruals and accounting adjustments.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Maintain accuracy and completeness of the general ledger across various entities.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end accounting processes and related transactions.
• Assist with the compilation of management accounts and financial reporting packs.
• Support the preparation of annual financial statements and audit requirements.
• Assist in strengthening financial controls and improving accounting processes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial information.
• Assist with ad‑hoc accounting queries and support cross‑functional finance projects.

Required profile

• Experience as a Financial Accountant or in a similar accounting role.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (articles completed advantageous).
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
