Accountant – Financial Reporting & Analysis

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to join Network Finance’s fast‑paced team in Johannesburg West. You will play a key role in preparing accurate financial statements, supporting budgeting processes and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and maintain the general ledger.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, VAT and tax submissions.
• Support year‑end audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Analyse financial data and provide insights to management.
• Identify and implement process improvements.

Required profile

• BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Completed SAIPA, SAICA or CIMA qualification.
• Minimum two years post‑articles/post‑qualification experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations and month‑end processes.
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
• Own reliable transport (advantageous).
