Accountant – Completed Articles Required

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Accountant to join a well‑established company on the East Rand. The successful candidate will be responsible for a full range of accounting functions and will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Maintain general ledger entries and reconcile accounts.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.
• Assist with internal and external audit processes.
• Process payroll and manage fixed‑asset registers.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Completed Articles with SAIPA or SAICA – non‑negotiable.
• Relevant accounting experience in a corporate environment.
• Strong analytical and numerical aptitude.
