Account Manager – South Africa

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to lead our sales team in South Africa. In this role you will drive customer‑focused growth, shape a strong pipeline and support managers and professional associates to achieve their targets.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell both technical and non‑technical products and services to end customers.
• Inform customers about new product and service introductions and pricing.
• Develop, monitor and adjust lead‑generation plans to maintain a robust sales opportunity pipeline.
• Provide leadership and coaching to sales managers and professional associates.
• Create departmental plans, set production priorities and allocate resources.
• Align team activities with organisational priorities and division goals.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of internal and industry standards relevant to the role.
• Ability to integrate department dynamics with broader division priorities.
• Experience managing multiple teams of professionals or junior managers.
• Proven accountability for results, budgeting, resource planning and policy formulation.
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders.
