Account Manager – Sandton

About the role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and driven Account Manager to join their Sandton‑based team. The role focuses on growing existing B2B customer accounts and actively developing new business opportunities within the office‑automation market.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and expand a portfolio of B2B customer accounts, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
• Prospect new opportunities through cold calling, networking and referrals.
• Sell printers, scanners, multifunction devices and managed print solutions, preparing quotations and proposals.
• Conduct client visits, presentations and product demonstrations.
• Oversee the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing and implementation.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and update CRM records regularly.
• Identify upsell opportunities for upgrades, consumables and service contracts.
• Collaborate with technical, service and administration teams to deliver excellent customer support.

Required profile

• Matric/Grade 12 with 3–5 years proven B2B sales or account management experience.
• Direct experience selling printers, scanners or multifunction devices; office‑automation knowledge is a plus.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and strong new‑business development skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence, reliable vehicle and willingness to travel within Johannesburg/Gauteng.

What we offer

• Base salary of R16,000 per month.
• Commission structure on top of the base salary.
• Petrol allowance of 250 L per month.
• Cell phone allowance of R309 per month (excluding VAT).
