Account Manager – Modular Buildings & Container Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a commercially‑driven Account Manager to join our growing modular building and container rental business in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for building long‑term client relationships, identifying new opportunities and delivering tailored solutions across a range of industries.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales and territory plans to grow revenue and market share.
• Identify and secure new business through networking, market research and industry analysis.
• Manage and expand an existing portfolio of key customer accounts.
• Conduct client needs analyses and propose customised modular and container solutions.
• Oversee the full sales cycle – prospecting, quotations, negotiations, contract management and post‑sale support.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, provide forecasts and regular sales reports.
• Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Monitor contract performance, resolve issues and ensure service excellence.
• Provide market insights and feedback to support product development and regional growth strategies.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification; a diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management or a related field is advantageous.
• 4–6 years of proven B2B sales experience, including substantial account‑management responsibilities.
• Experience in logistics, construction, industrial products, manufacturing or technical‑solution environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage key accounts and consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
