Account Manager – Mining Solutions

About the role

The Account Manager will coordinate local business and nurture relationships with key mining accounts for Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions. This full‑time position covers a cluster of mines, requiring deep understanding of customer operational needs and Sandvik’s product and service portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the total potential of each account for Sandvik products and services and develop market opportunities.
• Perform opportunity analysis on operations/projects to increase share of wallet.
• Provide budgetary and investment calculations and detailed financial inputs for accounts.
• Develop and implement an annual local account business plan to secure new business.
• Maintain compliance with the Global Framework Agreement and report on performance.
• Act as the single point of contact on site, coordinating product and service delivery.
• Regularly update the business plan with activities, relationship development, and sales opportunities.
• Gather and relay site‑specific insights on innovations for safety, productivity and cost efficiency.

Required profile

• Full‑time availability with willingness to travel to customer sites at least 50% of the time.
• Strong relationship‑building skills and ability to understand mine management needs.
• Experience in developing account plans and managing contractual agreements.
• Capability to perform financial calculations and present investment proposals.
