Account Executive Assistant – Commercial Banking

About the role

The Account Executive Assistant will support the Account Executive in managing a portfolio of commercial banking clients. This role combines analytical, administrative and risk‑management duties to ensure credit facilities are processed accurately and client relationships are maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the credit application process and maintain the integrity of credit data.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of credit facilities to evaluate and mitigate risk.
• Provide exceptional service by educating clients, offering appropriate solutions and ensuring relationship continuity.
• Resolve customer queries promptly to enhance satisfaction and retention.
• Monitor process turnaround times and quality standards, addressing issues to improve service delivery.

Required profile

• National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
• 3‑4 years of relevant relationship experience in the financial or banking sector.
• Strong knowledge and experience in commercial credit.
• Not an unrehabilitated insolvent.
