80 Hour Service Consultant

About the role

The 80 Hour Service Consultant will educate clients on digital and self‑service banking solutions while handling cash transactions and first‑line device maintenance. The role supports business goals by delivering efficient, secure, and customer‑focused services in the Midrand branch.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with digital applications, login issues, and value‑added services such as prepaid data and airtime.
• Process over‑the‑counter cash transactions, balance and replenish cash stocks, and manage card inventory.
• Perform first‑line maintenance on ATMs, self‑service devices, and related equipment.
• Guide clients through self‑service zones to obtain statements, cards, and other documentation.
• Identify sales leads, cross‑sell appropriate products, and record interactions in the client management system.
• Control queue flow, prioritize clients with special needs, and ensure secure handling of old stock.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow operational checklists and security procedures.
• Capability to work independently while collaborating with other departments when needed.

Required skills

• Cash handling and cash‑balancing procedures.
• Device maintenance for ATMs and self‑service kiosks.
• Operation of digital self‑service platforms.
