12‑Month SAP Consulting Internship – DCoG & Zimele

About the role

The Department of Cooperative Governance, in partnership with Zimele Technologies, offers a 12‑month full‑time internship designed for unemployed graduates from previously disadvantaged communities. Participants will receive classroom instruction, on‑the‑job training, and mentorship, culminating in a Systems, Applications, and Products in Data (SAP) certification that prepares them for a career in SAP consulting.

Required profile

• South African citizen with a clear criminal record.
• Maximum age of 35 years.
• Currently unemployed and holds at least a bachelor’s degree, advanced diploma or NQF Level 7 equivalent.
• Good problem‑solving, presentation abilities and computer literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong command of English, excellent communication skills and a solid work ethic.
• Willingness to attend weekday classes across the nine provinces and to relocate at personal cost if required.
• Commitment to the full 12‑month program; preference given to candidates living with disabilities.
