About the role

Pick n Pay is launching a 12‑month Graduate Internship Programme designed for recent Communications, Journalism and Languages graduates. The role offers hands‑on experience in storytelling, brand communication and creative development within South Africa’s leading retailer.

Key responsibilities

• Write engaging narratives, scripts and storyboards that align with Pick n Pay’s brand voice.
• Tailor content for diverse audiences, ensuring messages are on‑brand and clear.
• Present ideas to internal teams to create impactful, well‑structured communications.
• Collaborate with the creative team to produce compelling work that resonates with customers.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Languages, Journalism or Communication (BA).
• Proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
• South African citizen with a valid ID.
• Unemployed and ready to start a career with Pick n Pay.
• Willingness to travel to the Kenilworth/Kensington Office Park for the internship duration.
• No prior work experience required.
