12‑Month Finance Internship – Cape Town

About the role

Apex Group is offering a 12‑month, paid internship based at Apex House in Cape Town. Graduates will gain practical experience in financial services, receive a monthly stipend and benefit from structured training and development programmes. High‑performing interns may be considered for permanent positions after the programme.

Key responsibilities

• Support the department to which you are assigned, assisting with daily operational tasks and projects.
• Follow internal procedures, compliance standards and apply risk awareness in everyday activities.
• Contribute to quality and operational control processes.
• Work both independently and collaboratively with team members.

Required profile

• Completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Legal, Information Technology, Marketing or a related field.
• No prior work experience required.
• Strong numeracy, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to follow rules and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
