Warehouse Pharmacist – Quality Assurance

About the role

Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is looking for a Warehouse Pharmacist to maintain and improve warehouse quality systems and ensure that all warehousing and distribution activities comply with regulatory and operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review, implement and update SOPs for warehouse operations.
• Manage deviations, CAPAs and change controls through to closure.
• Train warehouse staff on Good Warehouse Practice (GWP) and related SOPs.
• Conduct self‑inspections, coordinate third‑party audits and prepare for regulatory audits.
• Lead validation projects, equipment calibration and technical agreements.
• Monitor temperature and humidity, handling excursions and out‑of‑spec conditions.
• Oversee receiving, dispatching, cycle counts and stock control.
• Coordinate product sampling, investigations and destruction of goods.
• Perform risk assessments and contribute to Quality Management Reviews.
• Prepare compliance and stock reports and support warehouse projects.

Required profile

• BPharm degree with active SAPC membership.
• 2–3 years experience as a Warehouse Pharmacist in a pharmaceutical distribution environment.
• GWP/GDP training and at least one year of QA experience.
• Knowledge of validation protocols and equipment calibration.
