Warehouse Operator – Level II

About the role

We are seeking a Warehouse Operator – Level II to join our Logistics Warehousing Department in Johannesburg. In this position you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods through accurate receiving, storage, and dispatch while upholding safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, store, and dispatch goods following established procedures and system transactions.
• Identify and report product damage, discrepancies, and non‑conforming materials, taking corrective action promptly.
• Sort, label, package, and strategically store items to optimise warehouse space and material flow.
• Pick, pack, and ship orders to meet defined standards, cycle times, and customer expectations.
• Promote a strong Health, Safety & Environmental culture by stopping unsafe work, reporting hazards, and using PPE correctly.
• Maintain clean, orderly work areas and perform routine housekeeping, equipment checks, and basic maintenance.
• Communicate clearly with team members, participate in training, and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Work proactively with peers and support teams to identify risks and opportunities that reduce downtime and environmental impact.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Some work experience or intermediate‑level knowledge of warehouse operations.
• Strong decision‑making ability and accountability in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proven ability to deliver results under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Commitment to continuous self‑development and safe equipment operation.
