Warehouse General Worker – Johannesburg

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Warehouse General Worker to join our team in Johannesburg. The position supports the production area by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with machine changeovers, and performing basic administrative tasks related to process control. The role requires flexibility to work extended hours and shifts as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain effective housekeeping and enforce safety procedures throughout the warehouse.
• Perform general cleaning of machines in the production area to ensure operational hygiene.
• Assist with changeovers between production batches, supporting smooth transitions.
• Support process control and online quality monitoring activities.
• Operate machines when qualified, contributing to production output.
• Capture process control information and carry out other administrative duties.
• Keep accurate records of production and maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Hold at least a Grade 12 qualification; additional relevant skills program qualifications are advantageous.
• Be willing and able to work extended hours and shift patterns.
• Have reliable transport to and from the workplace.
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Possess knowledge of safe working procedures and a focus on safety.
• Ability to work under pressure independently while maintaining quality standards.
• Customer‑focused attitude and willingness to support team goals.
