About the role
The Tech Supply Specialist will plan, deliver and embed supply technology projects across breweries in the Africa Zone. You will own scope, budget and timeline, drive user adoption and ensure post‑implementation value is realised.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, manage and deliver MES, SCADA, OT infrastructure and data reporting projects from scoping through handover.
- Develop project scopes, delivery plans and timelines, tracking milestones and dependencies across multiple site roll‑outs.
- Prepare CAPEX and OPEX submissions, business cases and manage budgets and forecasts.
- Manage system integrators and vendors, ensuring standards, quality and commercial compliance.
- Execute deployment of platforms such as OneTech, OneMES, Omnia, TrakSys, SODA, FLOW and the data backbone.
- Support manufacturing systems teams with software deployment, licensing administration and version control.
- Apply change‑control practices, support OT and manufacturing IT governance, including cybersecurity and network segmentation.
- Organise user training, coach site teams and conduct post‑implementation reviews and hyper‑care.
- Own post‑project value realisation, measuring and reporting benefits against approved cases.
- Provide zone‑level support for manufacturing systems, act as escalation point and deliver reporting/dashboard solutions (FLOW, SSRS, Grafana).
Required profile
- Tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Engineering or a related technical field.
- 3–5 years experience in a systems environment and/or control and automation systems.
- Proven experience planning and delivering technical projects with budget and timeline ownership.
- Hands‑on experience with MES, SCADA, OT infrastructure or industrial data platforms.
- Experience in a production/manufacturing environment; brewery experience advantageous.
- Experience delivering user training and driving system adoption across multiple sites advantageous.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP advantageous.
- Formal project‑management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) advantageous.
