About the role
The Talent Acquisition Recruiter will manage the end‑to‑end employee hiring process for Mayfair Gearbox. Working closely with hiring managers, the role involves identifying staffing needs, sourcing and screening candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating onboarding to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
Key responsibilities
- Write and publish job postings across job boards, professional networks, and social media platforms.
- Review resumes, conduct initial screening interviews, and evaluate candidates against job requirements.
- Facilitate assessments, coordinate interviews with hiring managers, and participate in final evaluation panels.
- Obtain and manage reference and background checks for prospective employees.
- Track applicants using an Applicant Tracking System and maintain accurate recruitment records.
- Provide regular updates to hiring managers and relevant stakeholders on recruitment progress.
Required profile
- A degree in Human Resources or a related field (admin qualifications advantageous).
- At least 5 years of talent acquisition or recruitment experience, covering both white‑ and blue‑collar roles, preferably in the motor industry.
- Strong command of English, both verbal and written.
- Excellent communication and telephone etiquette.
- Presentable, neat appearance and a clear criminal record.
Required skills
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with recruitment portals and applicant tracking systems.
