Supply Chain Manager

About the role

The Supply Chain Manager is the senior supply chain leader for Westfalia Fruit’s Convenience Europe Market Unit. Reporting to the Market Unit Director and sitting on the local management team, the role is accountable for end‑to‑end supply chain operations, including demand and supply planning, logistics, and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead the supply chain function in the market unit, aligning local execution with global strategies.
• Represent the supply chain function on the Market Unit leadership team.
• Collaborate with the Global Convenience Supply Chain lead to implement global policies, systems, and S&OP processes.
• Oversee the Demand and Supply Planning Manager and team, ensuring accurate forecasting and inventory management.
• Drive the local S&OP process, integrating inputs from customer, sourcing, and operations functions.
• Manage logistics, warehousing, transportation and third‑party logistics providers, identifying cost‑saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and food‑safety standards, and maintain master data accuracy.

Required profile

• Suitable qualifications and proven experience in senior supply chain leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to manage end‑to‑end supply chain operations in a matrix environment.
• Experience with demand and supply planning, S&OP, and logistics management.
• Strong focus on service excellence, waste reduction, cost management and customer satisfaction.
