Stock Controller & Procurement Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail‑oriented Stock Controller & Procurement Coordinator to manage inventory levels, conduct regular stocktakes and oversee purchasing activities. The role is based primarily in Brooklyn, Pretoria, with occasional travel to the head office in Hazelwood.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular stocktakes, cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Monitor stock levels, manage ordering, replenishment and purchasing requirements.
• Liaise with suppliers on pricing, quotations, orders and delivery schedules.
• Process purchase orders, verify deliveries and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Investigate discrepancies, losses and variances and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare stock reports and support inventory planning.

Required profile

• Previous experience in stock control, inventory management, procurement or purchasing.
• Strong organisational, analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with suppliers.
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle for travel between locations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Confidence using stock management systems.
