Specialist, IM Risk and Compliance

About the role

Exxaro Resources is looking for a Specialist in Information Management (IM) Risk and Compliance to lead and implement comprehensive risk management and compliance programmes. The role is based in Centurion and focuses on safeguarding IM assets while ensuring regulatory and policy adherence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and implement comprehensive Information Management risk management and compliance programmes.
• Identify, assess and mitigate IM‑related risks across the organisation.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and produce related documentation.
• Act as the central liaison for internal audits and coordinate audit responses.

Required profile

• Proven experience in risk management and compliance within an information management context.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks applicable to information assets.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a culture that values compliance, creativity, accountability and inclusivity.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills to convey risk findings to stakeholders.
