Site Manager – Gauteng

About the role

The Site Manager will lead all on‑site activities for construction projects in Gauteng, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. This senior position requires strong coordination of subcontractors, resources and client communications.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee site management, project planning and programme coordination.
• Manage subcontractors, allocate resources and control budgets, cost reporting and reconciliation.
• Ensure quality assurance, compliance, health, safety, environmental and site security standards.
• Maintain client liaison, stakeholder communication and regular reporting.
• Lead, mentor and discipline the on‑site team, resolve conflicts and manage labour.
• Coordinate material, plant, labour and procurement activities.
• Chair site and subcontractor meetings, keep accurate records.
• Guarantee project delivery according to schedule, budget and specifications.

Required profile

• BSc or NDip in Civil Engineering, Building or Construction Management.
• Minimum 10 years of construction experience, including at least 3 years as a senior foreman.
