Shutterhand – Construction Site Specialist

About the role

The Shutterhand is responsible for the safe and efficient assembly of shutters and related concrete structures on construction sites. This role ensures compliance with safety standards while supporting the broader construction team.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in risk assessments and adhere to all safety requirements.
• Conduct pre‑shift toolbox talks and report hazards to supervisors.
• Erect and regularly inspect scaffolding, ensuring it meets safety standards.
• Safely operate power tools such as circular saws, jigsaws, and grinders.
• Assemble shutters for various concrete structures according to project specifications.
• Perform ad‑hoc tasks for which training has been provided.
• Maintain proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Required profile

• Certified to work at heights and comfortable operating at elevated levels.
• Strong commitment to safety and ability to follow written and verbal procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a construction environment.
