SEO & Digital Marketing Expert (Remote, Contract)

About the role

This is a part‑time, hourly contract position working remotely as an SEO and Digital Marketing Subject Matter Expert. You will evaluate AI‑generated SEO and marketing outputs, create high‑quality digital marketing content, and provide detailed feedback to improve AI model performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training content, including prompts, content briefs, strategy notes, and optimization analyses.
• Evaluate, rank, and refine AI‑generated responses for intent match, accuracy, clarity, and practical applicability.
• Review SEO and marketing outputs for search‑intent alignment, keyword strategy, on‑page and technical SEO, content structure, measurement, and compliance risks.
• Fact‑check information, identify hallucinated facts or risky claims, and write clear explanations demonstrating best practices.
• Collaborate with the AI data services team to continuously improve training data for leading AI models.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in SEO and/or digital marketing (in‑house, agency, or consultancy).
• Strong command of SEO fundamentals and technical SEO concepts.
• Excellent analytical instincts with experience using GA4, Search Console, and building dashboards.
• Exceptional attention to detail, C1‑level English proficiency, and ability to work independently across time zones.

Required skills

• Keyword research, intent mapping, information architecture, internal linking, content briefs, SERP analysis.
• Technical SEO: crawl/indexation, canonicalization, redirects, sitemaps, Core Web Vitals, schema markup.
• Analytics: Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, dashboard creation, experiment design, attribution analysis.
