Senior People Operations Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Senior People Operations Specialist to lead end‑to‑end HR operations in a fast‑moving, remote‑first environment. You will act as a hands‑on generalist, building structured, automated solutions that support a globally distributed team across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage core HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
• Support managers and employees with performance management, employee relations, and day‑to‑day HR needs in a remote setting.
• Coordinate with EOR providers and contractors across Europe, handling complex multi‑country employment structures.
• Partner with Finance to oversee contractor payments, payroll workflows, and timely execution.
• Design, document, and continuously improve scalable HR processes, replacing manual steps with automated solutions.
• Build and maintain People Operations tools and automations, integrating platforms such as HiBob, Notion, Slack, and internal systems.
• Identify and implement AI‑driven opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in People Operations or HR, preferably in tech‑driven environments (SaaS, fintech, etc.).
• Proven track record in startup or scale‑up settings, with a focus on process building and improvement.
• Strong understanding of European employment frameworks, EOR models, and contractor administration.
• Experience working in fully remote, async‑first teams.
• High attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and a proactive ownership mindset.
