Senior Level 3 IT Engineer – Managed Services

About the role

Our client, a well‑established Managed Services Provider, is looking for an experienced IT infrastructure professional to join their technical team as a Senior Level 3 IT Engineer. You will work across diverse client environments, lead technical initiatives and deliver enterprise‑grade cloud and infrastructure solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced Tier 3 support and perform root‑cause analysis on complex incidents.
• Design, implement and maintain Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server and hybrid cloud environments.
• Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper‑V.
• Administer networking components including firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, routing, switching and wireless infrastructure.
• Support Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and identity management.
• Lead projects like cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades and Microsoft 365 deployments.

Required profile

• 5+ years in a Tier 3 or senior infrastructure role within an MSP.
• Proven ability to work independently on complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and customer‑facing skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and handling escalations.
