Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

Hollywoodbets is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join its Purple Team in Umhlanga. The role involves planning, executing, and reporting on a variety of audit assignments, ensuring robust internal controls and compliance across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, review and report on financial, IT and operational audit assignments.
• Develop and maintain internal control frameworks and conduct risk assessments.
• Execute tests of controls, document findings and assess residual risk.
• Identify process gaps, formulate recommendations and follow‑up on improvement actions.
• Conduct compliance checks with laws, regulations, company policies and accreditation standards.
• Support fraud investigations and review suspicious activity.
• Complete audit tasks within set deadlines, applying appropriate sampling techniques.

Required profile

• Matriculation with English and Mathematics.
• Bachelor’s degree majoring in Auditing.
• Computer literate.
• 3‑5 years of experience in accounting or internal audit.
