Senior Hire Controller

About the role

The Senior Hire Controller will lead the equipment hire operations across our civil, construction and mining projects. You will be responsible for driving sales performance, managing cash collections, credit control and stock levels while ensuring high standards of customer service and staff management.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed targets in sales, cash collections, credit control, staff and stock management.
• Motivate store staff to generate above‑average sales and maintain excellent customer care.
• Assess workshop output using technical knowledge to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Oversee staff performance and implement effective managerial controls.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience as a senior hire controller in civil, construction or mining environments; plant hire experience is a plus.
• Confident, self‑motivated and driven to succeed with strong communication abilities.
• Proficient in Excel and comfortable using its advanced features.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to transfer between branches.
• Tertiary studies in Business Management are advantageous.
