Senior Commercial Client Executive – Major Account Manager

About the role

We are recruiting for senior Commercial Client Executive positions within a fast‑paced commercial environment. The role focuses on building and strengthening client relationships, driving commercial performance, leading teams and ensuring sustainable portfolio growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans to grow and retain key client relationships.
• Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and business partners.
• Drive commercial performance, profitability and sustainable growth.
• Lead and support client‑facing teams to deliver against agreed KPIs and service expectations.
• Oversee budgets, forecasting, financial performance and commercial metrics.
• Use data, analytics and AI‑driven insights to identify opportunities and improve decision‑making.
• Manage complex stakeholder environments and resolve commercial and operational challenges.
• Lead client reviews, renewals, proposals and commercial negotiations.

Required profile

• 10–12+ years' experience in FMCG, retail, sales or a related commercial environment.
• Significant senior management experience with substantial client portfolios.
• Strong commercial acumen with budget, financial performance and P&L responsibility.
• Excellent strategic thinking, negotiation and relationship‑management skills.
• Leadership capability to influence across multiple functions.
• Comfortable working with data, analytics, technology and AI‑enabled insights.
• Resilient, agile and commercially minded in a dynamic environment.
• Relevant postgraduate qualification at NQF Level 8 preferred.
