About the role
NTU International is building a pool of senior and junior non‑key experts to support the EU‑funded Cooperation Facility in Lesotho. The Senior Climate & Environment Expert will provide high‑level technical advice on climate resilience, biodiversity and environmental sustainability throughout the 48‑month project.
Key responsibilities
- Provide expertise on climate resilience, biodiversity and environmental sustainability.
- Conduct climate risk assessments and detailed environmental analyses for EU interventions.
- Support the mainstreaming of climate considerations across all EU‑funded activities.
- Monitor and report on the environmental performance of projects.
Required profile
- Minimum 10 years of experience in climate adaptation, environmental management and biodiversity.
- Experience in development cooperation projects is an advantage.
- Familiarity with EU‑funded project procedures is a plus.
