Scheduler / Planner – Rustenburg (Project‑Based)

About the role

Our client in Rustenburg is looking for an experienced Scheduler/Planner to develop, maintain and monitor project and workshop schedules within a steel‑fabrication, construction or mining environment. You will coordinate activities across multiple departments, track resources and ensure projects stay on track.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and monitor project/workshop schedules.
• Coordinate activities across production, procurement, engineering and project teams.
• Track progress against schedules, identify delays and risks.
• Monitor manpower, materials, equipment and other resources.
• Update schedules and provide accurate progress reports to management.
• Identify schedule deviations and assist with recovery plans.
• Monitor project milestones, deliverables and critical deadlines.
• Attend planning and progress meetings and maintain planning documentation.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Production Management or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in planning and scheduling, preferably in steel fabrication, construction or mining.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication abilities.

What we offer

• Project‑based contract with a gross salary of R60,000 – R70,000 per month.
