SAP Technical Solutions Consultant

About the role

The SAP Technical Solutions Consultant will lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of SAP integration solutions across multiple projects. You will work closely with business and functional teams to translate requirements into robust technical architectures that support the organisation's digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end SAP integration architecture, including authentication, logging and error handling.
• Conduct JAD sessions with functional consultants to capture requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Implement and configure SAP CPI integrations, set up adapters (SOAP, REST, SFTP, SuccessFactors, IDOC) and manage connections to SAP and non‑SAP systems.
• Identify performance bottlenecks, provide tuning recommendations and optimise CPI flows.
• Monitor CPI flows in real time, troubleshoot issues and ensure secure data transfers (certificate‑based authentication, OAuth, encryption).
• Create detailed technical documentation for integration flows, data mappings and best practices.
• Integrate solutions with SAP API Management and configure API gateways.
• Mentor junior and senior team members and engage executive stakeholders to align integration strategy with business goals.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Experience conducting unit, end‑to‑end and regression testing and documenting technical specifications.
• Proven ability to lead technical design workshops and communicate complex solutions to both technical and business audiences.
• Track record of driving integration strategy across business units and evaluating emerging SAP technologies.
