Sales Executive - Earthmoving Equipment

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Executive to drive the growth of our earthmoving equipment portfolio in Johannesburg. The role involves promoting products, building client relationships and achieving sales targets across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and market the division’s earthmoving equipment and related services.
• Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans and budgets aligned with market trends.
• Monitor sales data, adjust strategies and report performance to senior management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners and internal stakeholders.
• Identify new business opportunities and convert dormant accounts into active sales.
• Manage the allocated territory, optimise under‑performing product categories and achieve monthly and annual targets.
• Prepare quotations, manage calling programmes and ensure accurate record‑keeping in company systems.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification; a degree in Business Management, Marketing or related field is advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years’ technical sales experience in the earthmoving equipment industry.
• Strong understanding of equipment financing options.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Valid driver’s licence and own transport.
