Sales Consultant – Education Software (Remote, South Africa)

About the role

This dynamic position focuses on generating leads for management information software aimed at education institutions across Africa. You will conduct cold‑calling, direct emailing and build relationships with principals, business managers and IT professionals to drive sales growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new business and sales opportunities for education software.
• Cold call and directly email prospective clients.
• Achieve set call and outreach targets.
• Market and promote the management information software to schools and colleges.
• Perform ad‑hoc administrative tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a sales role.
• Evidence of successful conversion of leads into sales.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers.
• Excellent selling and negotiating skills.
• Energetic, ambitious and able to work independently.
• Computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• 2 years experience in telecommunication sales, lead generation or call‑center environment.
