Retail Sales Assistant – Upmarket Stores

About the role

Our client, a leading retailer, is looking for mature and professional Sales Assistants to deliver exceptional customer service across three up‑market stores in Benoni, Linden and Wendywood. This is a permanent, shift‑based position offering a base salary of R5,000 plus commission.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets through personalised customer service.
• Conduct one‑on‑one consultations and advise customers on adult product ranges.
• Perform stock taking, inventory management and replenishment.
• Handle cash‑ups, daily reconciliations and POS transactions.
• Execute opening and closing store procedures.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
• Minimum 1 year of sales experience.
• Strong one‑on‑one customer service skills.
• Extroverted, energetic and socially mature.
• Own transport and a valid driver’s licence.
• Computer literate.
