Remote IT Support Specialist

About the role

This full‑time remote position supports a growing US‑based company by being the first point of contact for clients and internal teams. You will troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues, maintain systems, and ensure smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level technical support via email, phone and remote‑desktop tools.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network problems promptly.
• Assist with setup, configuration and ongoing maintenance of company devices and applications.
• Guide users through problem‑solving steps and deliver training when needed.
• Escalate complex incidents to the appropriate specialist or department.
• Document tickets, resolutions and system configurations in the ticketing system.
• Support software deployments, updates and ensure compatibility.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting and minor server maintenance.
• Track recurring issues and contribute to process improvements.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in an IT support role, preferably in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish (Portuguese a plus).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, able to work independently.
• Proven customer‑service mindset with a proactive attitude.

Required skills

• Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Google Cloud, Azure.
• Remote‑desktop applications and ticketing systems.
• Fundamental networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, VPN.
• Hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
