Remote IT Support Specialist

About the role

This full‑time remote position supports clients and internal teams as the first point of contact for technical issues. You will troubleshoot hardware, software and network problems, maintain systems, and ensure smooth IT operations for a growing US‑based company.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level support via email, phone, and remote desktop tools.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
• Assist in setup, configuration, and maintenance of company systems, hardware, and software.
• Guide users through problem‑solving and deliver training as needed.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and configurations in a ticketing system.
• Support software deployments and updates.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting and minor server maintenance.
• Track and analyze recurring issues to improve system efficiency.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in IT support, preferably in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment.
• Experience working remotely and supporting international clients is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Customer‑service mindset with ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users.

Required skills

• Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
• Cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
• Remote desktop applications and ticketing systems.
• Fundamental networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
• Hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.

What we offer

• Compensation of $1,000‑$2,000 USD per month, paid twice monthly.
• Independent contractor agreement with potential for long‑term commitment.
