Regional Accountant – Sandton

About the role

A leading JSE‑listed group is seeking an ambitious Regional Accountant to join its finance team in Sandton. Key responsibilities

• Manage the financial accounting function for the allocated region.
• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and month‑end processes.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and statutory requirements.
• Analyse financial performance and provide commercial insights to management.
• Liaise with regional operational teams and head office, supporting external and internal audit processes.

Required profile

• BCom Accounting degree.
• Completed SAIPA articles or equivalent post‑article commercial experience.
• Minimum 4 years progressive financial accounting experience within a large commercial organisation.
• Strong financial reporting and reconciliation abilities.
• Commercially minded with excellent analytical capability and confident stakeholder management.
