Recruitment Manager – Human Resources

About the role

Doctors Without Borders (MSF‑Southern Africa) is seeking a Recruitment Manager to lead the full‑cycle recruitment function across the region. Reporting to the HR Director, you will shape recruitment strategy, oversee the team and ensure a seamless hiring experience for both operational and head‑office needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, adapt and implement recruitment policies, procedures and metrics.
• Supervise the recruitment team, monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain networks with universities, professional bodies, recruitment platforms and government agencies.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders – communications, operations, sections and OCs – to align talent needs with organisational goals.
• Provide ad‑hoc recruitment support to other MSF departments upon approved request.
• Analyse operational trends, produce data‑driven recommendations and adjust workflows accordingly.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing end‑to‑end recruitment processes.
• Ability to develop and execute recruitment strategies in a complex, multi‑stakeholder environment.
• Strong analytical skills to monitor trends and recommend improvements.
• Excellent collaboration skills with internal and external partners.
