Recruitment Consultant – 6‑Month Contract (Call Centre)

About the role

We are looking for a Recruitment Consultant on a 6‑month contract to lead the full recruitment lifecycle for our call centre division in Cape Town. You will source, interview, vet and onboard agents, team leaders and specialists, ensuring staffing targets are met while complying with South African labour legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and post job descriptions and adverts tailored to call‑centre roles.
• Source, screen and interview high‑volume candidates for positions such as agents, team leaders and specialists.
• Conduct pre‑screening, CV reviews and phone interviews to verify minimum requirements (Grade 12, language proficiency, customer‑service skills).
• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment processes, including offers and onboarding.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
• Collaborate with call‑centre managers and workforce planning to understand staffing needs.
• Ensure recruitment practices comply with labour laws, BBBEE, EE and company policies.
• Track and report recruitment metrics such as time‑to‑fill, quality of hire and attrition.

Required profile

• Matric/Grade 12 (or SAQA‑accredited equivalent) and a B‑degree with HR specialization (or equivalent).
• 3–5 years of experience in high‑volume recruitment, preferably within a call‑centre environment.
• Strong knowledge of call‑centre operations and workforce requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast‑moving setting.
