Quality Manager – Wet Condiments

About the role

The Quality Manager will lead quality control and assurance for the Wet Condiments Category, ensuring food safety, compliance and consistent product quality across three factories. This hands‑on position reports to the Technical Manager and supports a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain strict adherence to GMP, hygiene, sanitation, pest control and foreign‑body prevention programmes.
• Implement and monitor production processes, SOPs, quality limits and change‑management procedures.
• Manage HACCP, CCP and OPRP verification, trending and corrective actions.
• Oversee incoming raw‑material quality, supplier non‑conformances and FIFO/FEFO stock management.
• Own customer complaint handling, root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action reporting.
• Lead internal and external audits (BRCGS, IBL, third‑party) and ensure audit readiness.

Required profile

• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Biotechnology or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a factory QC environment with proven track record.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and able to make independent decisions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to lead and influence teams.

Required skills

• HACCP implementation and management.
• CCP and OPRP monitoring and trending.
• Food safety certification knowledge (BRCGS, IBL, FSSC 22000).
• Good Laboratory Practices and validated testing methods.
• Traceability system management and audit execution.
