Quality Control Inspector

About the role

The Quality Control Inspector will oversee the quality of telecommunications installations, ensuring that all work meets client specifications, industry standards and internal quality plans. This role involves daily site inspections, documentation, and coordination with subcontractors to resolve any defects promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections during and after site completion and maintain detailed inspection records.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly quality reports, including checklists and photographic evidence.
• Distribute quality reports to subcontractors, ensure snags are cleared within agreed timeframes, and forward acceptance documents to the Quality Manager.
• Conduct hold‑point inspections, contractor audits and regular site visits to verify compliance with ISO 9001/2008, ISO 18001 and project‑specific quality plans.
• Summarise cluster‑level issues, organise meetings with subcontractors and drive corrective actions.
• Support project implementation by guiding personnel at critical quality checkpoints and monitoring adherence to documented standards.

Required profile

• Familiarity with ISO 9001/2008 and ISO 18001 quality and occupational health standards.
• Knowledge of RF, wireless, BTS/DBS specifications and full‑turnkey installation processes.
• Experience in telecommunications construction or related fields.
• Fall‑arrest and basic rescue training (L1/L2) certification.
