Installation Technician (Field Technician/Installer)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Field Technician/Installer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining Ctrack telematics units and other authorised products in vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out pre‑ and post‑installation inspections in line with department and branch requirements.
• Install, repair and service Ctrack units and other company‑approved telematics devices.
• Configure and troubleshoot devices installed within vehicles.
• Complete administrative tasks using company systems as directed by management.

Required profile

• Minimum Matric (or equivalent) qualification.
• Auto‑electronics or auto‑electrical qualification or relevant experience is an advantage.
• At least two years of experience in installation, repair or maintenance of vehicle‑based equipment.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Not subject to any restraint‑of‑trade or non‑compete agreement.

Required skills

• Knowledge of installation procedures and techniques for telematics devices.
• Ability to configure and troubleshoot vehicle‑installed equipment.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office.
