Production Supervisor – Wet Condiments

About the role

We are looking for a Production Supervisor to lead the Wet Condiments Category at our Montagu facility. The role involves overseeing daily production operations, ensuring compliance with quality and food safety standards, and managing staff to achieve efficient output.

Key responsibilities

• Control staff daily duties, rotate tasks, monitor timekeeping and ensure effective task completion.
• Monitor equipment, maintain according to work instructions, report faults and manage equipment issuance.
• Ensure processing parameters meet specifications, report non‑conformances and enforce SOPs to maximise efficiency.
• Maintain hygiene standards, oversee cleaning validation and storage practices including allergen control.
• Conduct pre‑batch inspections of raw materials, weights and traceability, and manage allergen spillages.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Strong attention to detail and quality awareness.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, crouch, kneel, lift up to 25 kg and work at heights if required.
• Ability to understand and follow written and spoken instructions.
