Plant Production Operator – Industrial Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Plant Production Operator to join an international industrial manufacturing operation in Greylingstad, Mpumalanga. The role involves overseeing production lines, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and control production processes to maximise efficiency and quality.
• Monitor and operate plant equipment, including SCADA interfaces where applicable.
• Support the safe running of production lines and report any safety concerns.
• Complete production checks, documentation and routine housekeeping duties.
• Report operational issues promptly to minimise downtime.
• Ensure products are produced accurately and delivered on schedule.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, plant or industrial environment.
• Qualified engineer is highly advantageous.
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work 12‑hour rotating day and night shifts in a fast‑paced setting.
• Hands‑on, reliable and proactive attitude.

Required skills

• Experience with SCADA systems (advantageous).
