Plant Manager – Medical Waste Treatment

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Plant Manager to oversee day‑to‑day operations of our medical waste treatment plant in KwaZulu‑Natal. The successful candidate will ensure smooth plant performance, lead a production team and uphold high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate operations of the medical waste treatment plant.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Oversee disposal and treatment of medical waste materials.
• Maintain records of waste processing activities.
• Train and supervise plant staff.
• Implement and enforce plant procedures and policies.
• Monitor equipment performance and maintenance.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a waste treatment plant, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Matric qualification; relevant further qualification is an advantage.
• Knowledge of medical waste regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills
