About the role

An opportunity exists for a Phlebotomy Technician/Staff Nurse to join the team at our Florida branch in Johannesburg. The role requires a proven track record in phlebotomy, high ethics, and alignment with PathCare values.

Required profile

Enrolled Nurse Certificate or Phlebotomy Technician qualification, registered with SANC/HPCSA
Minimum 2 years post‑registration experience
Valid Code B driver’s licence (manual transmission)
Fluent in English with understanding of Afrikaans
Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
Client‑focused with strong attention to detail

Required skills

Phlebotomy techniques and order of draw
Operation of Point‑of‑Care instruments (Hemocue, Stratus)
Running arterial blood gas analyses on dedicated machines
Computer literacy, preferably with Skylims
