Pharmacist – Hospital Pharmacy

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Pharmacist to join our hospital pharmacy team. The role involves ensuring safe and effective medication use for patients by dispensing prescriptions, managing inventory and providing drug‑related information to clinical staff.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately dispense and label prescribed medicines.
• Verify prescriptions for errors and appropriateness.
• Provide patients with guidance on proper medication use.
• Maintain records of controlled substances and overall drug inventory.
• Monitor stock levels, place orders and control expiries.
• Support doctors and nurses with information on drug interactions and side effects.
• Adhere to hospital policies, pharmacy regulations and ethical standards.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of all medicines.

Required profile

• D. Pharm or B. Pharm degree from a recognized institution.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, hospital pharmacy practices and patient counseling.
• Attention to detail and ability to work responsibly in a clinical environment.
