Permanent Store Assistant – Retail

About the role

Kurt Geiger is seeking a Permanent Store Assistant to join its Newcastle Mall location. You will be the front‑line representative of a luxury footwear brand, delivering a premium shopping experience and supporting the store’s sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cash desk duties with zero variance, manage daily cash control and banking processes.
• Execute stock procedures, handle customer orders, conduct weekly stock counts and maintain storeroom organization.
• Complete shoe pairing exercises to keep displays accurate and appealing.
• Provide expert product knowledge, offer styling advice and build strong customer relationships.
• Uphold brand standards through meticulous presentation and professional demeanor.

Required profile

• Matric / Grade 12 qualification (essential).
• 6 months to 1 year of retail experience, preferably in luxury or fashion retail.
• Passion for high‑end fashion, footwear and customer engagement.
