Permanent Part‑time Retail Associate – Fourways Crossing

About the role

We are looking for a permanent part‑time retail associate to join our adidas store at Fourways Crossing. You will help maintain the store’s daily operations while delivering excellent customer service in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of adidas service to every customer.
• Process sales transactions, including cash, credit and checks.
• Assist with product ticketing, verify paperwork against deliveries and support stockroom to sales‑floor flow.
• Help develop and maintain merchandise displays following management guidelines.
• Utilise the point‑of‑sale system efficiently and maintain its integrity.
• Apply selling techniques such as add‑on sales and convey technical product information.
• Greet customers, act as a front‑door greeter during busy periods, and ensure a clean, safe store environment.
• Participate in loss‑prevention activities and report any suspicious activity.
• Complete in‑store or digital training (Atticus/AREA) and use Power BI tools to understand store performance.

Required profile

• Passion for retail and customer service.
• Clear, upbeat communication and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Adaptability to handle varied tasks in a high‑volume setting.
• Enthusiasm for fashion and confidence to style customers.
• Matric certificate; 0‑1 years retail experience (preferred but not essential).

Required skills

• Proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Basic cash‑handling experience.
• Familiarity with Power BI for performance insights.
